St John's and Montreal

I visited St. John's and Montreal in July 2004. St. John's is the capital of Newfoundland and has a busy port. It also has live music played in packed bars as well as some friendly whales. Montreal is charming. But somehow I saw the comic face of the city. Right from people trying to jump out of windows, to shoes made of flowers, to a traffic stop signal with only one (potent) finger in the hand. Well, the biggest joke was on me: I lost almost all my pictures of Montreal except that of the rainy first day I spent there.
