Napoli

"See Naples and die ("vedi Napoli e muore"), says one of the famous and often plagiarized quote from 19th Century. My first impression of Naples in drizzling rain was not really something to die for. But then I hadn't yet tried Pizza Marinata in some crowded street-corner in Naples. Naples is often stereotyped: crowded, crime-ridden, chaotic ... Well, its all that and more. Its crowded in a way which makes many northern cities look sterile by comparison. Its touristic parts are supposed to be quite safe. And it has a grander side which can compare favorably with many European cities. Oh, before I forget, did I mention those mouthwatering pizzas.
