First-Faulhorn-Schynige Platte. A high traverse over the Grindelwald valley with almost constant view of the Oberland giants on one side and the blue Lake Brienz (Brienzersee) on the other. No doubt it is one of the finest trails in Switzerland except that it may be overcrowded on a nice day - I met more than a hundred fellow hikers on the way.
