East of Zermatt, there are many small lakes that are supposed to reflect Matterhorn in all its sharp details. Well, we saw some rough estimates. Parminder and I, took the funicular to Sunnegga, and then walked to Findeln, Stellisee, Fluhalp and Findeln glacier. Findeln is a small hamlet with traditional Valasian huts. Higher up, Stellisee is aptly called the lake that launched a thousand calendars - if you have a Swiss calendar, probably it has a photo of the reflection of Matternhorn on this lake. Next we went up to a small restaurant, Fluhalp, and then to the Findeln glacier. It was fun walking on the eroding crest of the glacier moraine.

Warning: way too many pictures of Matterhorn ahead.
