I have also been

Paris, the Commissariat a l'Energie Atomique in Saclay,
Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in Palo Alto and the Massachusetts
Institute of Technology.
My
research is devoted to the design and implementation of abstractions
for concurrent and distributed programming, from multiprocessors to
wide-area networks.
