Ticino
Vish and I visited Ticino, the Italian part of Switzerland, on 6-8th May, 2005. On the first day we took a boat ride on Lake Lugano, visited Swissminiatur at Melide, and enjoyed the spectacular views from Monte San Salvatore. On the second day we hiked up Val Verzasca, from Corippo to Sonogno. With its old stone houses and a clear blue stream, Verzasca is definitely one the most beautiful valleys I have seen.
